Luwen Technology’s RMB 800 Million Energy Storage Prefabricated Cabin Project Officially Launched in Ganquanbao ETDZ

On September 20, 2024,the team from Jiangxi Luwen Technology Co., Ltd. visited the Ganquanbao Economic and Technological Development Zone in Xinjiang to conduct on-site inspections of plant facilities and office spaces, officially initiating the implementation of the company’s investment project. Following the signing of the investment cooperation agreement, Luwen’s senior management immediately began advancing project preparations, marking the official launch of the RMB 800 million Energy Storage Prefabricated Cabin Project in Ganquanbao ETDZ, which is expected to move forward rapidly.

The project includes the construction of energy storage prefabricated cabins, passive intelligent cold-chain products, and soft-top coal transportation containers. Among them, the energy storage prefabricated cabin project will cover the entire industrial chain excluding battery cells, including battery containers, battery racks, thermal management, fire protection systems, and DC distribution systems. This comprehensive layout will help extend the industry chain, reduce production costs, and enhance overall competitiveness.

Jiangxi Luwen Technology Co., Ltd. is an enterprise specializing in the design, integration, and manufacturing of energy storage systems and special-purpose container equipment, with multiple manufacturing bases across China. Leveraging its extensive experience in the design, simulation, manufacturing, integration, and commissioning of large-scale and commercial energy storage systems, the company produces 20-foot and 30-foot liquid-cooling BESS containers, 40-foot and 45-foot air-cooling containers, and outdoor cabinets. Driven by the rapid development of its energy storage integration and passive cold-chain businesses, the company aims to achieve an annual output value of RMB 1.5 billion and create 500 local jobs within three years after the Ganquanbao project becomes fully operational.

A company representative stated that investing in Xinjiang and settling in Ganquanbao reflects Luwen’s strong confidence in Urumqi’s urban agglomeration advantages, strategic position as a gateway for westward opening, and the institutional and industrial strengths of the Ganquanbao Economic and Technological Development Zone and the Urumqi area of the China (Xinjiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone. The launch of the energy storage prefabricated cabin project marks an important step in Luwen Technology’s strategic deployment to respond to the “Belt and Road” Initiative and to build a globally oriented smart energy storage manufacturing and application enterprise.
